Interesting critters.  I once watched one stalk a big tom while he was gobbling on roost. I was torn... do I spook the tom so he doesn't get eaten, or do I watching what happens if the fisher was successful 50' up a tree?  Tommy spotted him as soon as the fisher hit the limb he was on and busted out of there.  Seen them chase squirrels up a tree which makes one heck of a racket...

As a trapper my thought seems to wander in the beauty along with dollar signs LOL, in 2013 that Fisher pelt was worth $150-200.

Fisher are tough animals for sure. Any animal not afraid of a face full of porcupine quills has my respect. Their cousins the wolverines are one of the toughest animals pound for pound there are anywhere. The Mustelidea family (weasels) are all amazing animals.

Posted this up on my trail cam thread. got the notification while at work for motion on blink cam's setup at home.never seen one in the woods and sure didn't expect to see one going through my mostly fenced in 1/2 acre lot haha.there is a big stretch of woods prob 150 or so behind my fence so assuming it was wondering
