May have asked you this before, but are blues usually quite fishy tasting? Had some many years ago and it wasn't to my liking. Don't know if size or time of yr has anything to do with it?

I think if you bleed and chill them properly they are one of the best eating fish out there

These were give to us whole. They were cleaned, but I don't remember how they were processed.

Bleeding and getting them on ice quick helps, but I still don't like eating them past cocktail size. Too soft and mushy for my liking. I hear good things about smoked blue spreads though
