I'm kind of bored today as it's the first weekend home since early October.  Going to dinner tonight with some longtime close friends and their wives (along with a couple single buddies too) so just decided to clean my 7mm-08.  I shot two deer with it this season and I don't recall if I cleaned it last fall but figured why not.

I have found that Sweet's 7.62 Solvent does the best job on any left over powder residue and copper fouling in the bore.  After getting it cleaned up a few patched soaked in Hoppe's then dry patched does what I need.

I've never had the pleasure of shooting a flintlock.  Looks like fun.

Fun &  sometimes frustrating.

I should add that I use 3F Goex in the barrel and 4F in the pan, patched round balls too.
