nywaw Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 You'll all now see a big red IGNORE TOPIC button in any topic you view that you can add to your own personal ignore list! This is a nice addition on top of the IGNORE FORUM button, but lets you get more granular in ignoring specific topics instead of an entire forum! Screenshot example on top right when browsing a given forum: In the event you want to edit your preferences, they can be found and edited under Account Settings as seen here: PraiseDiana, G-man, grampy and 1 other 3 1
Ncountry Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 Question. If one ignores a forum like the NRAs ,which looks like a sponsor, does it affect the income stream(if there is any) for this site?

Scroll down and there is a Amazon banner under help support nnww.

I may relabel these types of accounts as organizations instead. But to answer you question, hiding the NRA forum won't affect anything from a site revenue perspective as they aren't paying to be here or for their content to be shared, I'm doing if for the members' benefit. Right, the only forums of revenue enabled right now are the Amazon affiliate link on the right sidebar (desktop) or bottom (mobile) and automatically affiliate linking any product links members post (i.e. just post wherever you saw a good deal or have a product recommendation and if it's an affiliate, your link will be updated automatically without any additional work on your end) mowin 1

( if that's a option). I'm finding items cheaper at Wally world and free shipping over $35.. Some items are at my door the next day, and no annual fee like prime. GreeneHunter 1

I can try again, Walmart rejected the affiliate parntership last time I tried. mowin 1
crappyice Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 If something is "ignored" cannot be accessed by the "ignorer" seems an odd question but while I don't love to see certain posts front and center, I do need some deep dive reading materials after chili night!
nywaw Posted December 7, 2022 Author Posted December 7, 2022 It can still be accessed if you know the URL. The ignore really just hides it from view it doesn't block you from accessing it. crappyice 1

Looks like Walmart actually got added to the affiliate site I use, I'll add a Walmart affiliate link shortly! mowin 1
