Joe T Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 I was doing some research and noted that the pheasant season (and state stocking) go until the end of March in Pennsylvania. The Delaware Water Gap National Rec Area is a stocking location and is only a two hour drive from Long Island. Has anyone hunted there and what are your experiences with February and March hunting? Can you guys tell that after only one hunt I am getting the bug? Rusty and Bucksnbows 2

There are also private preserves that stock birds for you and are a sure thing. Thanks Rusty- I have a reservation for the day after thanksgiving at Hunts family preserve in NJ. This will be good to give Enzo some guaranteed bird contacts which I think is important to give him the idea. I guess my interest in the public lands is that it adds additional adventure! Rusty 1
