Nomad Posted November 17, 2023 Posted November 17, 2023 (edited) In keeping with a years long tradition, my daughter was going to buy her hunting license today , however ,she got married over the summer , and her DL and all current IDs have her new name ,while in the hunting system it’s her maiden name . I’m sure this is a common occurrence, and I’d appreciate hearing from anyone with first hand experience here . The DEC isn’t answering their phones and I left a message ,but who knows when they’ll call back . Thanks Edited November 17, 2023 by Nomad
Caveman Posted November 17, 2023 Posted November 17, 2023 (edited) Given that your DEC licenses are also tied to your NY Driver's license number, which should not change with a name change, I would think she would be ok if she just went to the clerk's office and bought it. Total guess though. Edited November 17, 2023 by Caveman Nomad, Red and corydd7 1 2
