Ok, WTF did my nephew and I just see?

So my nephew and I just pulled out of my driveway and Shaun says what is that?  Up in the sky is a series of lights in a straight line.  I pulled over and they were stationary. First pic is the light stationary, the video is them moving. I was holding my phone completely still. Shortly after this video, the lights disappeared all at once.

Mentioned that a couple of weeks ago on here and somebody said they were starlink satellites.  Cause they saw it to and were wondering wtf.  Corey and I were sure perplexed.  Lol

Starlink satellite deployment. It was made available to us here in early summer and it’s absolutely awesome when you live in the boonies. Dropped my crazy expensive DirectTV and have 10 times the options now with streaming.

I my have to look into this.  Assuming the cost is a lot cheaper?

As others said Starlink. There’s a really good video explaining the why behind that orientation.

Honestly I’m kind of surprised it didn’t get more attention from people. I would have expected people to lose their minds over visual pollution. Sort of like an eye sore when looking up to the skies.

They just start out like that, they spread out over time. Thousands of them up there. It's really annoying when trying to do astrophotoraphy or look through my telescope.
