Congrats! Nice clean frame on him. I’m sure the drag was work but worth it. Did you get any out in the Midwest too?

Phade, I didn't go to midwest this year. I was all in for Iowa, but did not get drawn. 

I hunted my balls off here in NY and in Mass. Many, many days of hunting. It finally paid off yesterday.

Oh dang, how many points did you go in the draw with? 4? Point creep is real there. Bummer but it looks like you got a heck of a buck as a consolation prize!

Yes I had 4 points. In 2005 I drew zone 5 with 1 point. It's getting ridiculous.

Mass or NY? Any moose sign?

Mass, I live right on the border. No recent moose sign at this spot. I  did see a bear, and a pack of yotes. There are moose at some of my other spots though. 

And Lol at NY having deer like this (in my area)on public land, they  don't structure the season as good as mass.

He was all rutted out, skin and bones no fat along the spine. His ear was smashed. 

And he still went 180lbs, and biologist aged a tooth by looking at it at 4.5 at the check in station. He probably was 200 lbs last month. Biggest one checked in at that station, it was opening day in mass.
