Chef Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 The daytime pic is the buck I harvested last year. The nighttime pic is from a few days ago. Pics were taken less than 200 yards apart. Are there two big 7's related?
2BuckBizCT Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 I don’t see much of a resemblance but If same property they could be cousins or brothers? cervidchasers and Robhuntandfish 2

grampy Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 Maybe 2nd or 3rd cousins? Racks not similar at all.
LET EM GROW Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 Probably distant cousins lol since its th same area, good chance there's some like blood in the mix there one way or the other I'm sure.. but most young bucks get the boot shortly after their first full year or 2..

Interesting - these three bucks were taken from the same property (small parcel in suburban area) in 3 consecutive years

The 3N spots I hunt have tiny brows. Didn’t FSW once say that does (not bucks) control the racks more anyway?

Robhuntandfish Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 (edited) we have a preponderance of bucks that have high-tined racks without a lot of points. Seems like every year there are a quite few like that. on another property I used to hunt, there were always lots of bucks with one side being a spike. Moog5050 Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 Have had two (one was shot by Culver last year) with the same wonky side. Second pic is this year. I know a wonky side is usually pedicle damage but this is too coincidental. Rusty 1
