Probably to late for anyone to switch bullets now but buying bullets/sabots separate is a far better option then buying pre packaged bullets . These are great choices for today's modern in line . You can still get reloading components mailed to house

Couple more good ones

For Conicals I love these  https://www.muzzleloading-bullets.com/shop. I use the 460gr in my white thunderbolt muzzleloader

Hard to beat a Barnes

Thor bullets are top notch

Another premium is Lehigh defense

And for sabots it's harvester and MMP .

If you can find the 350gr Hornady FPB full bore conical they are a great choice . It was Hornadys version of a power belt . Another premium bullet is the speer deep curl in 300gr intended to be used for the .454 casul but very hard to find in stock now a days

I’ve said this before but I’ve tried a lot of bullets and the 200 and 275 gun Barnes bullets for the 460 s/w and 450 bushmaster are absolutely the best I’ve tried.   Penetrate and expand better than anything else and are as accurate as anything I’ve tried. I shoot them in harvester sabots.

These are the blood trails this setup gives consistently!

I’ve had luck with Harvesters sabots and bullets. Scorpion and PT Gold. They’re harder to find locally but I like them. Barnes seem to be top of the pile though. I have yet to switch but will try the few boxes I have after this season. I’ve seen a few first hand expansions…which are great for MZ.

Hornady SST 250 have been very very good to me. A friend recommended the Thompson Center Cheap Shot 240grn, I may order some

The SST have always been accurate for me but I’ve had nearly no expansion on any of them post-mortem. I’ve tried different loads and no luck. Killed several with them but ultimately got away without the expansion. That’s partially why I want to try Barnes.

Exactly my experience. Shoot great and will go end for end but little to no expansion.

Agree barnes are top notch, but the speer deep curls for the .454 casul would be my #1. Have you ever tried these in a crush rib sabot ,very hard to find as of late . I'm glad I have a surplus.

I killed a few hogs with those bullets in my 454 casual carbine. I’m firmly in the copper wagon and haven’t found a reason to go back to cup and core.

I'm setup with Barnes 250gr T-ez this year with My Omega, and have the Harvester sabots on order to see if there's a difference than the stock sabot. Coming from Shockwaves which were extremely accurate out of my Omega and Triumph. When I used to shoot it often I could hold a 5" group at 225yards. Would like to tinker with these guns after season and really get them dialed back in for next year. I shoot All copper out of everything i own... Zero complaints. Even for coyotes in my 22cals.. straight to the shoulder.

It'll be interesting to see if there's a noticeable difference. I shoot the same bullet in 290gr, but have just used the stock sabots. Guess I've never had a reason to try anything else.... dead is dead.

This is what I use. I shot 4 deer with them and none went further than 60 yards. Accurate as can be as well
