BH209 shelf life test!

Well been a lot of years since I shot my ML as I've been hunting bow/crossbow exclusively.  Went to the range to try some pre-measured powder I had from probably 10 years ago.  First shot at 50, looks good to me, I don't get shots much farther where I hunt!

Also get a metal bullet adapter, my plastic one sheared right off!

Great info !!! I've been in the habit of buying new powder and primers every couple years. I don't want to have any issues if I can help it, but 10 years makes me think twice about that now....

I use federal 209a primers and the box I have has to be 15 years old and I shot seven today they all fired right away

Good to know.  My 209 and primers are all 10-11 years old.

Last time I reloaded shotgun shells for trap and skeet was back in 2005, so my primers are almost 19 yrs old.  Makes my ML go boom.
