Got Honored Tonight

Had a meeting tonight at Woodlawn Sportsmens Club. I've been a member for a number of years. Served on the board of directors, and head the archery committee. I was very surprised, and honored, to be voted a life member, our highest annual accolade. I feel others were way more deserving. But to get something totally unexpected, from your peers, feels really good. Great club of like minded outdoors people. Just thought I'd share my happiness with you all. As there are so many great outdoors people here too.

Thanks everyone. I was quite humbled by it to be honest. Wasn't expected at all. I still feel there are others more deserving.

I never do anything looking for recognition. I just try to be there when needed. I try to be like that in all facets of my life. It seems to come back to me with much more than I ever put out. I'm very blessed.
