The_Real_TCIII Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 Im visiting a friend in Denver next month and he booked us a day here. Its a three mile stretch of private stocked water on the North Fork of the South Platte, sort of high fence fly fishing but I cant wait! Last year we fished the Arkansas river in Buena Vista and had an awesome time chasing wild fish. I also fished Clear Creek in Evergreen. I wanted to find cutthroat but finding public access was very confusing and I didnt have a lot of time https://boxwoodgulch.com/ grampy, Ncountry, Rusty and 2 others 5

Bucksnbows Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 The North Fork of the S. Platte has good midge hatches through winter as I recall. It’s been years since I lived in Colorado. Robhuntandfish Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 i am embarrassed to say i didnt catch a trout all year. It used to be the #1 thing i did outdoors and my Dad was an avid trout fisherman. These days i still fish a bunch but i find myself out on the boat instead. Always loved just looking down the stream to the next hole. BowmanMike and Bucksnbows 2 "it's pointless for humans to paint scenes of nature when they can go outside and stand in it"- Ron Swanson
