I used to check the site for updates a few times a season. Sometime over the summer the site went down and has not been put back up. Anyone know if it's an error or if it's really gone for good?

Earlier this season he had the Facebook page still up.

I think he runs a FB page now.  I wish I could get those hunters to post their deer here.  He has some kind of manual email process.

I share stuff on FB to draw an eye and try to bring in members from there.  I can't post directly on their FB page though, don't think they'd look too kindly on that.

It is my understanding that he made a post about charging a fee to view the site now, and he got creamed in the comments. He deleted the site soon after. This happened just before Christmas sometime.

If I remeber correctly, he was looking for something like $0.99 a month. Most of the people really trashed him about it.

He wanted money to fund the effort and time it sounded like. I can understand asking for donations or clothing logo sales like he did. Nobody bought it. Most of his views were to the FB site. The subscription thing was weird to me.

People openly and in large said we can see the deer at the plethora of other FB groups for free. Tough scenario.

Doesn't  hurt to throw it out there. I personally  wouldn't pay but I wouldn't  run the poor guy over the coals about it either. Nyantlers a good guy, seems to put in alot of effort  for the hunting community with little gratitude. I'd  tell everyone to F off to. Lol

I reached out to him to see if he was done with the site permanently.  If he is and willing to sell I can route the traffic here and do a combination of posting the hunter success pictures here and to FB.  This is effectively what the Hunter Showcase was meant to be and allow members to submit them on their own.

Well, pretty odd situation.  Appears the site is now owned by another party from Serbia.  Not sure what happened, trying to get more info from them and validate what the actual situation is.  Does anyone know the former owner and have any info?
