Surmn8er Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 Looking to try my hand at grafting some apple and pear trees. Interested in Asian pear and late dropping apple/crabapple scions if anyone will have some available. Will pay $$ or trade for Dunstan Chestnut seedlings. Located in WNY.
Keith Nehrke Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 We were hiking at Whiting Road Preserve in Webster on New Year's, and there are a bunch of crabapple that are still holding close to the Eastern access. The trees are still so thick with fruit that I might consider them no-drop rather than late-drop. Not sure this does wildlife any good, but if you're in the Rochester region it might be worth a look. cervidchasers 1
