Funny that he stood there and posed for ~50 pics, giving me all sorts of angles! I had a hell of a time narrowing them down to the best 18 that I saved!

down and mount him and can look at it all day long!  Awesome buck.  I have 3 that haunted me all season.  I know the feeling. Good luck- you def put your time in.

I think he needs another year.... :D

that decision is always easier on 12/13.  lol  Gives you something to look forward to next year!  No pics of him in December next year except from your living room !

Saw this buck around a few times last fall. Quite certain it's the same buck that I've had on cam several times this fall. Had him on cam recently (12/2/22) and recalled having pics of him at the exact same spot last year in Dec (12/10/21). He was my #1 target this year, but never laid eyes on him!

It is very common to have bucks make there rounds like this to within the day or hour each year as the rut picks up or winds down.. Good catch! Picking up this piece to the puzzle will help you close in on them if you pay attention, and you certainly are! Best of luck

I heard on a podcast about a study that claimed that the same doe will go into heat on the exact same time every year. University of Missouri study I think..

And that the doe will pass that entry's date on to her offspring. So that means that a whole family group will go into heat around the same time year to year and it isn't a stretch to think that a buck will remember where and when his best chances to get some tail are.

I heard that on multiple podcasts from people that runs a Ron of cams that they get the same bucks at the same time in certain areas, and that they are not around at other times.

If you don't get him this year, make a date for next year, haha.
