NRA Posted February 4 Share Posted February 4 Late Friday afternoon, the New Mexico House narrowly passed House Bill 129 on a 37-33 vote after amending the original 14-day delay for gun buyers. HB 129 now imposes a 7-day waiting period on firearms purchases by law-abiding citizens, including concealed handgun licensees and anyone else who passes a firearm background (NICS) check.
