LET EM GROW Posted February 8, 2024 Posted February 8, 2024 (edited) Been fighting issue after issue lately Non habitat related, keeping me from getting out there. Since its already February, Ill probably only try to allow some sunlight into some closed canopy pockets of woods I own and lease, nothing crazy. Probably drop a few, hinge a few and double girdle a few. The smaller woody/brushy pockets i want to try to add bedding cover to if time allows. I also want to help my buddy who just bought 100 acres in Pine City out to get his land set up for all wildlife, since he's into small game grouse and pheasants and he's already seen a couple. Lay out a couple food plots and access routes for him, show him which trees to remove /drop/hinge/girdle etc.. But ill also be in Florida for the next 2 weeks so who knows what will get done this off season lol. Edited February 8, 2024 by LET EM GROW Robhuntandfish and Belo 2

Outdoorstom Posted February 24, 2024 Posted February 24, 2024 I’ll be out on the swamp property this summer. I’ll be clearing a stand of poplars on the edge of the swamp and planting fruit trees and clover. I’ll also be expanding a plot that gets wiped out every year. corydd7, Stubborn1vt, Rusty and 2 others 5
