Today, Senate File 105 passed in committee with a vote of 8-1 and is scheduled for a second reading tomorrow. The bill would prohibit the use of merchant category codes for firearm-related transactions. Additionally, Senate File 73 was passed out of the House Judiciary Committee and is scheduled for a second reading tomorrow morning at 10 am Mountain Time. SF 73 would allow individuals who have had their firearm rights restored to qualify for a conceal carry permit.
