Big Bore AR

Probably not the question to ask on a public forum associated with NY state but.... anyone have one?  I bought parts. waiting on upper portion to put together a 450 Bushmaster. I'll use it for bear, deer, and whatever else within 200 yards. Straight walled case so hopefully midwest states don't get liberal ideas and undo any future plans for it out there too.

Lower List so far with detachable mag for now:

Vortex PST Gen II Viper 1-6x24 and mount

Spike "Don't Tread on Me" logo stripped lower

Elftman Match Pro drop in Trigger with ProLock Mounting

Magpul MOE Fixed stock with extended pad

Geissele Super 42 buffer spring and H3 Buffer

Strike industries "featureless grip"

Wilson Combat Ambi safety

Accu wedge

C-Products Defense mags

Custom Upper stuff all in the works on order from Atheris with M-lok handguard... all black but barrel in Vortex bronze.

...might pick up Cross Armory Quick Pins and fixed mag lock to have a brake on it. We'll see.

if someone told me it's addictive to begin with i would've saved plenty of time and money. lol i don't even own that many.

with everything going on here in NYS i decided i'd build one just because i can.... for now. i figure there's no way they'll take what you already have because they would've already tried instead of grandfathering stuff in each time.

I know right. I got bored and now started building a 5.56 upper again. My favorite build is my 2nd 224 Valkyrie

AR  builds are a very slippery slope into having way too many of one half or the other! 
 

big bore AR’s are awesome! I have a handful of them and now that I’ve added a 350 legend to the arsenal for my daughter as a Christmas present and now have the dies I just ordered a barrel for an AR in it as well because… I don’t really know why because I already have a 358 AR complete upper that I haven’t killed a deer with yet. 
 

the 450BM is and probably always will be my favorite because it’s so efficient and easy to reload for! It also absolutely wallops deer!

Been wanting a 450BM for a while now. Just to have one big bore AR. Post up some pics when its together.. I had a shopping cart full to build another before Christmas, until Christmas threw a wrench into that lol... maybe in a few more months.

i'm not gonna lie i almost started to go the cheaper route so i can have a 350 legend and 450 bushmaster right away. then i figured i'd just stick to the plan with a 450 for now.

it's gonna be a slow and painful wait for what's left.... despite already paid it'll probably March or April before I see any of it.

I grabbed a 350 lower with the rule changes. I figured it’ll be my only build. I’m willing to dump some $ into it and know nothing about them. It’s overload on all the info and options but I’ll pay attention here for sure. I went 350 just because I have a single and bolt in that, and I like to stick to a few chambers so I can keep ammo on hand.

You'll become addicted once you put your first one together. You cant just build one. And once you have the lower you can put any ar15 complete upper on the 1 lower you have on hand.
