We were supposed to head to Lake Marion for Christmas break. Plans got squashed thanks to fuel oil prices. $2700 since September gotta love a drafty old farm house. Been working on it every year. Was thinking of putting it on market till the Veteran home loans went through roof would have walked away with 6 figures. Wife told me we could rent but I was too proud. Well just talked to my buddy in St Simon Island Ga were headed there for February break. For fishing and hanging out with friends. Always nice to have good friends that love to see people have a good time and dont over charge. Have recommended his place to everyone I know. Hopefully we will be able to be back down there in April before we start travel baseball. Should be a good time between St Simon Island And Jekyll Island. Lets hear where you guys have plans of going?

Just arrived in Mexico for the next three months.

Saw the "house" my wife bought last year that we now have to "renovate".

The dream is alive.

Really enjoy seeing all the pictures you post. Hope you have a good vacation.

I appreciate that, I always enjoy taking pictures of what we do, and sharing.  Thank you, you as well, safe travels.  We will most likely be up there at least once a month.

Wow, was the real estate description “unlimited potential”? Looks like a potential diamond in the rough.  Enjoy that journey, looks like fun.

Head south mid feb . We’ll stop a few places visiting friends and relatives, then end up on a key in Sarasota Fla for March . We leave there on the 25th and jump on a cruise ship with a few other couples for a week cruise .

Then take our time heading north , with a stop in Tenn .
