sbuff Posted June 29, 2024 Posted June 29, 2024 Currently I'm using three Moultrie edge cell cams which have been absolutely flawless. Come Sept they will be in the woods two years on the same set of lithium battery's . Also running one spy point link micro s which I have had my share of issues with. I decided to try spy points new flex M camera . The only reason I didn't get another Moultrie is because of the free 100 pics per month spy point give you . I rarely ever go over 100 pics per month,if Moultrie did that I'd probably have ten more . Does any one have the flex M ,seems to get good reviews . Definitely going with lithium batteries in it . Wow 2 years.. I guess your not getting 100s of photos a week.. some of my cams are 1000 plus photos a week. Good luck with new cameras!
sbuff Posted June 29, 2024 Author Posted June 29, 2024 Southern tug hill region, not like the southern zone , I can get 30 pics a day at my house . I bet I average 30 pics a month at most in northern zone
NYRturkeycall Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 (edited) I run a ton of spy Point micro LTEs , one tactacam reveal, one spypoint flex. The pics on the spypoint flex are definitely great, I hate the video option because it forces you to use three pictures for a video preview. So I use it purely for pictures. I have found that the reception is pretty damn consistent. The pictures come out clear and I don't get a lot of false triggers. I don't run the lithium batteries on it yet because I can't find a pack under 60 bucks. So I just keep it at one sync per day for most of the year and replace the batteries every so often when I need to. Good luck. Edited June 30, 2024 by NYRturkeycall Palma non sine pulvere
sbuff Posted June 30, 2024 Author Posted June 30, 2024 Sam's club has Energizer lithiums, the cheapest I've found
Keith Nehrke Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 The cost of an external battery / solar option has become unbeatable. Never replace batteries again.
