Carved Wood duck ID

Recommended Posts

So my wife’s brother had these, and since our daughter likes ducks, his woman  friend gave them to her . Now the big dark one is signed by Ken Harris Of Woodville ,and the internet has tons of info on him. The lighter one is signed by Bud Wiser ….. Geneva NY , 1974 I couldn’t find anything on him . Lol

The small one has no name or markings , it’s very heavy for it’s size .

Perhaps some duck guy recognizes the work .  My BIL was from Canandaigua, which ties in well with the other two makers locations  .

Definitely wood ducks. :whistling:

I added “Carved” to the thread title for clarity. I was wondering why IDing a wood duck would be difficult as I clicked on the thread.

@Nomadbeautiful hand carved decoys. I have some inexpensive ones myself, but nothing like those.
