Whatever is in my hands while I'm hunting deer.  Never got into predator hunting. Couple friends of mine have thermal Scopes, night vision, electronic callers and probably some stuff I've never heard of before.  I like my sleep, lol.

Ditto, I’ve dropped two this deer season . So 7mm08

I have 2 setups..

22nosler AR with a Sightmark Night vision scope and upgraded IR light shooting 85gr Nosler RDF

223 wylde AR with Sightmark Night Vison scope and upgraded IR light shooting 55gr Barnes tsx

I use a AGM tm25-384 Monocular for scanning.

Thermal is the absolute best for scanning, you'll see things you never knew were there.. including the coyotes that you think dont respond to your calling..

Lucky Duck Revolt caller

This is my first year trying to hunt yotes and maybe fox since I was younger, and then I was really just the light holder guy.

Rifle is a Radical FR16 in 5.56/.223. At first I had a Thordsen Gen 3 stock on the rifle. I couldn't get used to that stock or like it (wife didn't like shooting it that way either), so I pinned the mag not too long ago, put a Magpul grip and stock on it, and topped it with a Monstrum reticle scope. Reticles are black etched, green and red lit. I also have a BCA .223 Wylde upper I can drop on at well.

Ammo is Hornady 55gr HP Match and Win 64gr PP.

I have an old phone I downloaded some calls onto last year to see how that works.

I have no idea how well I'll do mainly hunting during the day, but I'm going to give it a whirl.

I would (if you're able) purchase a coyote howler hand call and a rabbit distress hand call you can get them as cheap as 10$ a piece.. Phones cant produce the decibel nor clarity needed to really outsmart the coyote, you can outsmart one or two with it sure, but i think your success in calling one in will go up tremendously with a cheap hand call vs your cell phone. I use them still and started this way. Trouble is the rabbit distress call is the first thing people think of to use when calling coyotes, which IMO makes some or most coyotes Leary of hard charging the call..  Start soft with first few calls. after a little while pick up volume to reach out. Patience is your best friend.  Don't be afraid to use some coyote vocalizations during the day.

I prefer the 64pp between those two choices. but both will certainly work. Shoot them in the chest or right through the front shoulders.

Best of Luck
