cas Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 And doesn't like flies. (And thinks that licking stick is the source of all flies in the state!) Way too long, I had no idea it was this long until after I'd uploaded it. dmandoes, Lil zeek, Mattypotpie8s and 4 others 3 4
Bucksnbows Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 I’m not sure why, but I’m reminded of a bat sh*t crazy woman I dated in college our freshman year….. dbHunterNY 1 "A sinking fly is closer to Hell" - Anonymous https://www.troutscapes.com https://nativefishcoalition.org/national-board
cas Posted July 3, 2024 Author Posted July 3, 2024 Of course the more I've thought about it, there's no flies when it's 1AM and 50 degrees.

dbHunterNY Posted July 9, 2024 Posted July 9, 2024 i've seen young deer leap clear over mom standing still and i just think why are we doing things to create optimal nutrition and fastest recovery possible leading after spring green up. buck i shot in Oklahoma was chasing a doe and ran clear through a cedar tree. it was the loudest crash i've ever heard out in the woods including those deer crashing after the shot. how he didn't knock himself out cold and/or break an antler I don't understand. some deer are just wound up tight and not as aware of their surroundings as much as the rest of them.
Farflung Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 So did somebody lace the scrape with amphetamine? Crazy behavior. I've only seen fawns cavort like that.
cas Posted July 12, 2024 Author Posted July 12, 2024 Someone else asked about buck lure or something on the stick... but there's nothing on it. Nothing in the scrape but pee/poop from deer, some other critters. (And I pee in it a few times a year lol)
cas Posted August 16, 2024 Author Posted August 16, 2024 (edited) I thought I put this more recent one up, but I guess not. Crazy little buck is still wearing himself out, but there's also a doe doing it as well, so it must be bugs. I don't blame them that's for sure, I feel bad for em.
