Once covid hit, the Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) combined with the National Deer Alliance to form the National Deer Association (NDA).  Just like QDMA the NDA is a non-profit 501(C)(3) national organization with a 4 star 91% rating on Charity Navigator. Their mission is ensuring the future of wild deer, wildlife habitat and hunting.

QDM and its four cornerstones (herd management, habitat management, hunter management, and herd monitoring) are still considered the preferred and accepted deer management strategy over trophy management or traditional deer management.
The Upper Hudson River Valley branch here in NY mostly operates within Washington, Warren, Saratoga, and Rensselaer counties. We do however support surrounding counties and efforts throughout NY state.  I fired up this thread to keep people apprised and carry over some recent stuff from some other forums.

**********2022 FIREARMS RAFFLE ***********
I've got more updates from the branch and been busy. A lot going on including getting set for the season with local qdm co-ops. We couldn't put together a live event this year but are doing a raffle as our fundraiser. Pic of tickets up for grabs below. Typical disclaimers on back but I'll take a pic. You're responsible for passing nics check at an ffl and any transfers from the ffl we're using to yours of your choice if you can't make it there (whitneys hunting supply in Granville NY). Thanks in advance for the support. 60% proceeds go to national deer association (NDA formerly QDMA), 2% of that goes to support all NY efforts via NYS NDA advisory board, and 40% to us for our endeavors. Much of it local to here in Eastern NY but also things statewide like NYS 4H youth shooting sports, etc.

PM me to setup getting entering/purchasing tickets. I've got PayPal and Venmo remotely.
