got a long list of things to get done.  A couple new stand locations and one blind, some food improvements thru plots and frost seeding, brush cutting etc.  Planning to hunt even less this year in early October, which i seem to decrease every year.  Would like me or my hunting buddy to take a $650 buck off the property.  We taken a few bucks but nothing really big but have been so close a bunch of times.  We havent taken a buck at all in a few years there but just fill the freezer with a doe or two, passing on some smaller ones.  Hopefully duck hunt a time or two as we never got to this year.  But most of all hope for us both to be healthy enough to be out there and enjoy getting outsmarted again!

I think I’ll  move 3 stands, to many in one area , and I’ve mostly ignored the East end of the property for 34 years . Well I had a couple stands just in the East side of the thicket but it’s become to thick to even hunt now . Going to move to the crop fields there .

Hunt Tenn. at my nephews, but that’s just as much a vacation with Mrs Nomad .

Oh I’d like to find my second trail cam .

Get a small plot or two in and would love something enclosed for those brutal winter days

Can be as easy as cutting an area down with a weed eater and throw out some throw and grow. Or get a gallon of spray gly to kill everything and seed over it after a few days.

Or even easier just frost seed clover in April. Weve had amazing success with this.

As I get older, I have found that my hunting drive is declining somewhat.

My goal is to try to keep what I have now.

You forgot Midwest 2023, sir.

For my partner and I - Dropping four capes and racks off so they can make an appearance on the red barn wall next year. Have to pick forms out. The fifth one is not getting shoulder treatment and I’ll work on him this winter.

Improving our NY access.

Hopefully finding a property to purchase - been looking and have the ammo but I haven’t found the one to pull the trigger on.

Solar electric fence setup to protect a bean planting.

Adding more stands in Ohio.

Solidifying plans for the Midwest tour. Hopefully securing some nearby ground to add a few friends to the trip.

Not listed in order, they’ll all happen in parallel to some degree.

My personal goals are to lose about 65 lbs which I’ve already began my journey , I’ve found myself in the fortunate position of retiring from my current job and will Return to the work force in a temporary capacity. I hopefully will be more active with my sons in the outdoors and do a few trips possibly for bear in Maine and Deer in North Carolina .
