I've found some ammo via ammoseek.com and I'm thinking about putting in a couple of orders. Does ammoseek assess the legitimacy of the retailers they highlight? Does anyone have experience with

I have not used it. But I know people who have and they have had positive experiences.

No idea , but do those dealers then ship to ones ffl who then adds on a handling fee as well  ?

What exactly are you looking for if I may ask ?

I’m not familiar with either one, but personally I don’t like to order from places where I can’t pick up the phone and call them. No phone numbers are listed for either.

I’ve used them is the past but I’m finding many of the listings aren’t accurate because the market turn over (demand far out weighs the supply ) I did find 20 gauge Hornady SSTs but the vendor seemed sketchy…. They wanted a minimum $200 dollar order to ship , they offered only a town and state for addess , did offer a phone number but when you went to check out they only accepted ApplePay, Zelle and the likes … didn’t feel comfortable so I passed . Buyer Beware

Blackcloud 12ga 3inch #3 and #4 shot ~$30 a box

Barnes Vor-TX 120gr and 127gr ~$40 a box

2-4 boxes of each would be a few hundred bucks so I don’t wanna get scammed…

So funny how things make you look like a liar , I just did a search and only two suppliers came back for 20 Gauge Hornady… but I did screen shot the other vendor when I was contemplating my purchase “ Ammostockmarket “ see below

I just did a quick search on GB. I’m guessing the Barnes is 6.5 Creedmoor? If so Reeds has them listed for $30 box on GB. If you call them directly, you can save the tax.

GB can have good deals on ammo occasionally. With a little work, you can usually figure out who to call to buy directly. Reeds will have to ship to an FFL, but there are usually others that will ship direct. 
I’ve bought 45 and 357 Sig recently for about half of what I found it for elsewhere.

When they only accept those methods of payments, it’s a scam.

With so many scams and a seeming total lack of accountability, it’s easy to see why we’re so overly suspicious.

Yup, 6.5 creedmoor. Thanks, I’ll look them over and see if I can place entire order through them and save on shipping.

I’ve had luck with Buds in the past. But very slow and not a particularly good deal on pricing.

I’ve purchased from them before. Good people and fast shipping. Their site even lists Black Cloud for $30 box. I don’t see the Barnes on there, but what’s listed on GB isn’t always on their site. Calling is the best bet.
