onlybrowning Posted December 31, 2022 Posted December 31, 2022 I’m looking for some .257 Roberts brass. I’ve got other brass to trade or will purchase. Might have other items of interest to trade as well. Thanks.
Lawdwaz Posted December 31, 2022 Posted December 31, 2022 Hmmm I could swear I’ve seen this before?!?!

I bought a .257 Roberts last year ONLY because Nosler Custom ammo told me they “would always have it available”. I started with two boxes of 20 each, with 100 grain Partitions leaving the barrel at 3,000 fps. They shot great, but I’m down to one box and can’t buy that any longer as Nosler no longer sells direct from their custom ammo shop. A buddy will help me reload this winter, so I also needed to find brass. That’s where I went for it. Love the cartridge, but wish it were easier to find ammo for. This sounds like a great reason to get into reloading yourself. As others will tell you, it’s not nearly as daunting as it seems to most. You’d not regret it.

But it’s been 17 years since he passed and we never had .257 dies. A buddy has everything I need and all I have to do is provide brass, powder and bullets. He has the correct primers. In my case, I ordered 50 rounds of empty Nosler brass (new) to add to the 40 rounds I shot from the two boxes I bought a couple years ago. I’ll be reloading soon. Brass coming from Midway USA. I was able to get my hands on 250 pcs R-P factory virgin nickel brass and have a bunch of mixed stamp brass as well figured if you needed a few pcs to get you shooting I am actually going to the range tomb and bringing both my Roberts savage 110 and a ruger number one RSI as well as a pair of 25-06 ruger number ones The 25 cal is my favorite range caliber
