NRA
“Tim Walz is a political chameleon – changing his positions to further his own personal agenda. In Congress, Walz purported to be a friend of gun owners to receive their support in his rural Minnesota district. Once he had his eyes set on other offices, he sold out law-abiding Minnesotans and promoted a radical gun control agenda that emboldened criminals and left everyday citizens defenseless. Kamala Harris and Tim Walz cannot be trusted to defend freedom and our Constitutional rights.”View the full article

Joe T
It’s a shame that both parties are so polarized that members of each can’t meet in the middle. dmandoes, Caeden4, PraiseDiana and 1 other 2 1

I think this is one of the few instances where we’ll see convergence. Tim Walz is a Dem VP pick who’s a veteran and a lifelong gun owner and hunter! Today is a good day for hunters in New York and nationwide. NYRuthunter, GreeneHunter, mowin and 1 other 2 1

Unfortunately the NRA has become so fringe that they no longer represent the viewpoints of traditional hunters and gun owners. I was just saying this to my wife earlier today when she noted that the NRA endorsed and then later unendorsed Walz. Versatile Hunter

Walz had an “A” rating from the NRA! It’s become so stupidly tribal that it just doesn’t make sense anymore. As hunters we want public lands to be safeguarded and expanded, smart legislation to help us adapt to the changing climate, and hunting and gun rights to be protected. No matter how anybody wants to spin it, Tim Walz stands for all of that. Joe T, PraiseDiana and Caeden4 2

grampy
I'm not voting for Harris - Walz. Both are way too liberal. I've already seen what the left did to our economy, border, crime, and world affairs. No thanks! If you guys think for one minute, that these two won't come down with even more strict gun laws. You are sadly mistaken. But believe what you want. As will I. dbHunterNY, GreeneHunter, Lawdwaz and 2 others

Tim Walz nicely balances the Dem ticket for that centrist voter or true conservative voter who finds Trump unfit for office. He is much more radical left than centrist. Even more so than Harris. I get that you Trump haters will vote for anyone but him. But for just one minute, take off the blinders that fuels your hate, and take a good look around. Everything is great.....right? C'mon man...... Do you really find Trump or JD to be more relatable? Look, we’re seeing more and more GOP officials come out against Trump. As we near November and his candidacy becomes ever weaker, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Republican leadership pull support. I’m proud of the Dems for recognizing that Biden would be a weak candidate for a second round. It’s an utter disappointment that we didn’t see the same with Trump. I think this statement earns you a Pinocchio Trophy : Is MN a swing state? Minnesota is not considered a swing state. The last time the "Land of 10,000 Lakes" went red in a presidential election was when a majority of Minnesotans voted for former President Richard Nixon in 1972 mowin

That does not scream conservative to me. You think he cares about you more than the people of Minneapolis that had their businesses and local stores burnt to the ground under his watch.
