Popular Post Moog5050
Just picked up 40 new acres mostly woods in middle of big ag. Client (big farmer) owns 6000 acres and said this is one of his best hunting parcels. Leased it to me cheap since we work together a lot. I have a good feeling about this new place. And it will take some pressure off my current 40 acres. Only 45min from home so not bad. Excited to set it up and get some cams out. Time to get serious again. haha Nomad, E J, Bucksnbows and 33 others 24 6

Keith Nehrke
Leasing is definitely the way of the future around here. Unfortunate in some senses since it makes it tough for new hunters to find somewhere to hunt. But I can't complain since we've benefited. Congrats on your find! Year to year no strings attached, but that is almost unheard of in SENY/CT or would be crazy money

I still like owning my own so I never have to worry about a place to hunt but this could be a great long term lease for additional options that costs me l as than taxes at my place. grampy, 2BuckBizCT, cervidchasers and 3 others

Moog5050
Finally got out there yesterday. Pretty steep side hill facing east (good for entry) and down to big ag. The hill is divided by a few big ravines. Need more time to find crossings. Set two cams. First pic this morning was encouraging.
