TimberGhost Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 So I had a porcupine mounted years ago , I know don’t ask … it was showing its age and habitat was never done to my liking so, I decided to clean it up and do the base . I’m satisfied with it and it brought it back to life. Doebuck1234, Bucksnbows, 518BowSlayer and 6 others 9
Splitear Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 That’s actually pretty cool. Maybe one of the last animals I would ever have considered getting mounted, but it looks great! TimberGhost 1

mowin Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 That looks great. What a conversation piece. While I'll let every porkie I see in the woods out hunting walk, if I see one around the house, it gets eliminated. I don't need the dogs getting into one of those. My nephew lives just down the road, and has one of his dogs blind in one eye from a porkie. Not to mention the 3k in vet bills. TimberGhost and Bucksnbows 1 1

Totally get that , they are very destructive, especially to plywood . I got a few quills in me while doing this and couldn’t imagine getting whacked with a tail full of them 😳.
grampy Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Nice job redoing the base of your porcupine mount! Looks great! TimberGhost and Dr Juice 1 1
