Off To California

Heading out to Cal to visit my son and daughter for the next 9 days . Be at the airport by 9am for a 10:30 flight. Going to hit the restaurants and beaches between Malibu to Redondo .  And Oh My ! The wife wants to hit the shops too !   

So please , can you guys calm down on the amount of  posts till then ?   Went of vacation at Hampton Beach NH for a week in July and it took me a week to catch up on all the new posts !       Stop yacking so much !!!

I hear in California that you can setup a tent practically anywhere - sidewalks , parking lots ... so on and so forth ?  It's a helluva cheaper than Hotels / Motels !

My daughter is the most liberal one in our family (music, theater, respects the pronouns people ID with, recycles-ya know-crazy!). She went away to Muhlenberg -small liberal school for music/psych double major and came back (2 years to go) more conservative than ever!!! She said, "Those people are crazy!!!"

Hey this may be good idea setup a yellow tent on the quad with a sign  that reads free Palestine and save on housing. She doesn't have to believe in it just a way to save some money.

I was in Beverly Hills / Century City area in June for 3-4 days and saw zero tents. I was shocked.

My daughter was out at USC and Cali for a couple years. I avoid Cali like the plague. I'd meet her in Colorado, Texas, anywhere or fly her home instead of going to that state.

It’s not a horrible place to go visit every now and then, if someone else  is paying, but you couldn’t pay me to live there.

I used to do shows around the country where we'd sample food and always had to get a permit from the health dept. the Los Angeles one took so many forms and so much red tape I finally snapped and said "YOU ALLOW JUNKIES TO SHIT ON YOUR SIDEWALKS AND I CANT GIVE THEM A FREE CALIFORNIA ROLL?!!!". The lady just laughed and said she felt my pain
