Lawdwaz
I was given a two pack of these cameras by a neighbor at work. He asked me to “point one” towards his property….no other details. LOL I’m torn because they require 512 gb Micro SD cards ($40 each?) and of course lithium batteries (8 in each) will make them run better. I guess you get 100 free pics a month…..things get pretty expensive if you want HD or video. I’ve just looked into it so am looking for advice, come one come all. mowin
Free cams, buy the cards and just put in alkaline and see how they work.
phade
I’d be shocked you need that large of a card. Should be able to use a card for $10. Lawdwaz

sbuff
I think my cards were 10 bucks from target . From spy point web site Recommended SD and MicroSD cards Avoid using the following SD or MicroSD cards - 2 to 32 GB - Class 10, - SDHC, - Premium brand, - Long formatting (with FAT/FAT32 setting), - Using the correct size card for your camera (SD or MicroSD card. - Less than 2GB or more than 32GB, - Class speeds 2, 4 or 6, - Rated SDXC or SDUC, - Poor quality or off-brands, - Short formatting (not with FAT/FAT32 setting),
2BuckBizCT
Everyone I know with a spypoint cell cam hates them. The pics are good enough to tell the difference between bear and deer, but that’s about it. I think @turkeyfeathers got a bunch. Wonder how they are doing?
Lawdwaz
When I got home from work yesterday and glanced at this card quickly I thought (because there are two cameras) needed 2-512 GB cards. Now I see it is in fact a MAX size of 512GB………that’s comforting. I’ll grab some batteries and give them a whirl. I’d imagine my old Spartan won’t get kicked to the curb just yet. I figured that was the max. Get em out there and start posting pics.

NYRturkeycall
I love my spy points, but I hate the one flex that I have. The pictures are great but they eat batteries like crazy. But spypoint is great cuz you get a hundred free pictures each month per cam. Maybe replace them with two regular spy points and you'd probably be able to grab a lithium pack each for a little bit extra. Plus the spy micro LTEs take microSD cards and they're a hell of a lot cheaper. Palma non sine pulvere
