I’m looking out my daughter’s bedroom window down towards fire pit and noticed this 5 foot snake skin. Pretty cool, but idk what kind?

That would be my guess too. They can get pretty long. 

They are also harmless.

 I found a snake skin in a crawl space of a customers house that is having issues with snakes in the house,eek. I would have jumped if there had been enough room,I got pretty close before I saw it. 

Even though just about all the snakes around here are harmless,I can't help but jump when they surprise me.

found this one in skimmer basket today. Alive with its shed skin. Some sort of ring neck snake?

I actually googled it and then tried to get it out peacefully but it was stuck in the skimmer basket and tried to bite me 3 times. So I acted in self defense. At first glance i thought it was 2 snakes and then realized the other was his skin.

They can’t even break your skin when they bite. I kept snakes when I was young.

I’ve actually never seen that kind before. The ring around neck was cool.
