Hello New York Friends.  How are things going out there. Things here in Utah are just starting to get good. There has been some big deer and elk already hit the dirt, but I still have an un Notched tag in my pocket. My daughter has a good bull elk tag so we are focusing in here upcoming hunt. Still trying to get back there this winter and check out some whitetail action. Anyways just wanted to say hello and hope things go great for yall as the hunts get going.

Oh man,elk would be a lot of fun to hunt. It is starting to feel like fall here and I for one am getting into the hunting spirit. I do nothing hunting related in the off season,I even get sick of looking for deer once the season ends. But by now they start to look tasty again and my freezer is low,I only got one last year. That was about the least amount since I started I think. But I had venison left from the previous season,so all in all it was ok.

Buy I am eager this year!

I'll be in Utah next week. Unfortunately not for a hunt.  Stepdaughter is in the national powerlifting competition in SLC.

Hopefully you are your daughter knock down some big bulls.

Wife and I are going to do a little driving around when we're there. Never been farther west than Ohio, so I'm hoping to see some pronghorn, mule deer and hopefully some elk.

Mule deer and antelope are in the valley, but elk you will have to go outside of the valley an hour or 2 to have the best chance at seeing them. Let me know if you want some spots to check out
