I thought it was great when I first got one on my cams. Now it makes me unhappy.  Get plenty of pics of fisher. Lots of fox. Coyote now and then. Racoons, 2,3,4 at a time.  Rarely turkey. :(

On Christmas three years ago I was getting ready to go to my mom's I saw one run across the street I have woods on both sides. Then my neighbor found a road killed deer put a camera on it and got 2 on the deer. I live in Monroe county

I saw my first fisher since moving up this way. I was coming back from the doctor and it bopped across the road in front of me. I wanted to stop and try t get a picture but the line of cars behind me wasn't having any of that nonsense.

I just saw one today in the middle of the road on my way in to work at 4am. In Canadice. That town has all the critters lol. Lots of bobcat in Honeoye this year it seems too

I’ve gotten a few pics of fishers but it seems like it’s in the area for 1-2 weeks, then it’ll seemingly move on for several months, before returning.

They average a 10 square mile territory, so that would be normal. We see the same in Otsego County.

I've seen them once in while. Pretty cool critters. The private land we hunt has some roaming around, but more mink and ermines. If we hunt the front area of the property my wife sees an ermine pretty often.

That’s cool. While fisher are on the rebound, ermine are headed in the other direction, unfortunately.

Nature's a fickle witch that's for sure. The first one the wife saw ran right past her and brushed against her leg. She sent me a text asking if mink or fishers turned white. I said no. When we net up to head out of the woods she described what happened. Asked the land owner and he confirmed with me it was ermine. I'll actually take any of them over the giant porcupines up there.

I haven’t seen one in decades in northern NJ. Trapped some as a teen way back when.
