Nomad
Worked in shipping and receiving in the safe factory. On and off the tow motor a couple hundred times a day, wrestled with hundreds of safes a day . We’d load 6-10 trailers a day at times , you had to move fast . Once we got Wal Marts business it became harder , as other stores you loaded full pallets of the same safes, then they broke it down for individual stores and their distribution center, wal mart we had to set up each store order and loaded in the the order it was to be delivered. They’d send 6-7 , 48 x 102s at a time , back then NYS didn’t allow 54s on the roads . See ya on the flip flop . blackbeltbill

I had all kinds of different shaped and weight Boxes on 3 drop off Zones for the Forklifts. I had to keep those Orange racks full of product for the Pickers in Front. I always enjoyed Manual Labor Thankfully. I was in around 3 other Warehouses as well. I remember when Waldenbooks uprooted from Woodbury,NY and Moved down to Tennessee to save on money all around. We all found out at the same time- bosses included in a meeting. One Supervisor just bought a Home. His Face Turned White. I was there for a good 8 years or so. Take The Multiple Use Area Challenge.
