mowin Posted September 22 Posted September 22 It's finally here. The first day of fall. Temps a falling, leaves are starting to turn, and some guys necks are starting to swell. Got some of my hunting clothes out to sort through and gear to organize. For the life of me, I can't find my range finder. Tore the house and shop apart looking for it. About ready to order a new one, but I know it's here someplace. Bucksnbows, grampy, Rusty and 2 others 5

grampy Posted September 22 Posted September 22 I had a "lost" rangefinder a couple years ago. Now I have two. The lost one was right where I left it! mowin 1
fletchny11 Posted September 22 Posted September 22 I have realized I am really good at putting stuff in super safe places. Someday it will turn up!

Wolc123 Posted September 23 Posted September 23 I’m very thankful to have located my favorite hunting knife (it was in the back of our kitchen silverware drawer and its sheath was on top of my deer fridge ). It sucked gutting a doe with my Leatherman. Also ordered a fresh stick of Evercalm from Amazon which should be here in plenty of time for my next hunt on opening day of NZ early ML week (November 19). NYRturkeycall 1
NYRturkeycall Posted September 23 Posted September 23 This was our "first" day of fall (we usually set up around this time because it's become so big). Friday evening, all Saturday to nightfall after my oldest daughter's soccer game, and today until 4pm. My legs hurt! NYBowhunter, Larry, grampy and 4 others 4 1 1 1 Palma non sine pulvere

Yes but Christmas isn't as big Just because of the nature of the decorations. Halloween I can get away with a little more this and that. Christmas we try to keep a little classier-this was last year. I'm still trying to figure out how to get a big "Merry Christmas" sign on the garage roof (was thinking cut out letters with lights stapled underneath but I would have to figure out a platform and how to attach it without moving with the weight without screwing it to the roof- It'll be a diy project for sure). This year we might add some light up decorative tree balls and a light post to the front of the landscaping. Im going to make some plywood candy canes and trees that we can uplight as well.
