Gonna bring this over as I have enjoyed it for so many years.....

Hunt #24 Littlefield stand 1:30-dark

Saw nothing.   Corey was in Pine and saw nothing.  Real windy.

Pulled cams and does there every night but not tonite. Haven't had a good doe in range all season.  But they sure have enjoyed our food plots. No real good bucks even though there are does there

Hunt #25.  Scrapetree stand dark -10.

2 does started up the trail got within 65 yards and wind was swirling and they must've winded me.

Fisher walked within 5 yards of me.

Neighbor started shooting at about 10 . So figured breakfast and switch spots for pm .

Hunt #26.  CSS stand . 1:15-dark.

Didn't see a thing.  Hard to believe with 9 scrapes on the trail in.  Can't seem to pick a right stand so far.   Back to work for tomorrow followed by 6 days off to try and seal the deal on a good buck.

That double beam buck is cool!

I am back out now for the next 6 days.  Just need to pick the right stand at the right time.   I will be in that stand where we have him on cam tomorrow morn.

Hunt #27.  Dark - 10:30 Scrapetree

Saw 4 doe at 55 yards. All pretty small.  Heard then walking behind me and a doe stepped out in trail and was hoping it was buck behind here. But just more doe and they kept getting smaller. Lol.

They went in brush then around in front of me in thick stuff for about 20 minutes. About 20 minutes after that swore I heard one grunt a ways in. Sat for 2 more hours but nothing.  Back out in a little bit after breakfast with Charlie.

Hunt#28.  1-dark.  Point stand.

Grinding out the last few days of bow.  Didn't see anything or even hear a twig snap.

70 degrees was beautiful but makes it tough to get a big buck to daylight in.

Been a tough season so far. I've seen one shooter buck all season out of range and one I had close but had to really talk myself into drawing on and couldn't get a shot anyway.  Haven't had a big doe in range all year. A few small ones and spike horns.

I dropped my journal from the other site and now I can't remember which hunt # I am on - I know for sure it is not # 28 like you!!!  Talk about stubborn!

You'll get there though, I am sure of it!

I had to go look there to see what hunt it was.

Stubborn or stupid.....I'm not sure yet. Lol
