Wellness program

Does your companies health insurance have a wellness program?  If so look into possible reimbursements that might be available. Found out today I can get reimbursed for my hunting license through my insurance as a wellness item.  I can get up to $600 a year reimbursement and they even cover such things as concert tickets etc... I just sent in a reimbursement request for my stock pool and see if they accept it.  Might want to look into it if you have company insurance as most have a wellness plan these days.   Mine was thru MVP.

I know my wife has something through the state, but I think it's more in the line of gym membership.

Mine also gave gym membership as an example but they accept a lot of other things too.

I wonder how my school would feel about that!!! Most people in the school know I hunt (and enjoy plenty of venison empanadas, chili and sausage) but rather not bring it to their attention since I feel many many illnesses coming up through Oct and Nov!!!

All I did was fill out a form you can get off the insurance website and send it to the insurance company with a copy of the receipt. Our HR benefits person told us about it.

Maybe get reimbursed for my out of state tags??? 🤔

Probably. She said they def do hunting licenses. So yeah should it's a vacation.  They won't pay for hotels but will pay for concert tickets.  Depends on your insurance.  Worth a look.

My gf and I get insurance through her job at the local University . The ins company has a program (think it's called wellness as well) . She gets online weekly or monthly (I don't know, lol) and fills out a questionnaire about our habits ,excersize eating g etc.. We get around $600 cash every year. Usually in the spring and it pays for our drinks for the summer. Lol.

@Robhuntandfish you think you can use that as a payment on your boat?

Id say the boat supports your mental wellness

It sure does but boat is paid for.  Annual launch pass I bet they would pay for though.  Thanks for that idea!!

Next year def putting in for that.  Right now I have a pending $580 out of $600 so hoping they grant those.
