is this the same one I posted a few weeks ago that also broke the record? Are these record fish being released actually gonna live?

Oh, IDK, I don't recall your post.

I didn't see any mention of the lengths of that fish.

This 9lber was caught in an FLW tournament event if I remember correctly. The DEC told him to put it on ice and they could certify it the next day.....he elected to release it and have witnesses sigh affidavits vouching for him. He caught a 9lber and 6 lber that day....and the 6 looked like a 3lber.
