10/12/24-- 13 Hens And 1 Gobbler.

  Just returned from a Pheasant  Hunt with ABBEY. Big Flock of Turkeys next to my Sister's  House. Stayed in my Vehicle for 10 Minutes and snapped some pictures. 

    After,I got ABBEY inside when they moved off,I got a Bag of Birdseed and walked down to my Former House. I still Mow the 2 " Community " lawns since,I left 2 Months back.

  Brood Hen and Gobbler followed me close behind. Did some talking to them and spread around the Birdseed on both areas.  Yup- they remembered  me.

   This is what,I have been seeing in other areas of Orange County. Plenty of Hens and not many Gobblers. I have written  about that several times in the past- but here are some Photos.  Gobbler here has a nice full Fan and perhaps a 6" Beard. Not even 1 Jake with a 1" Stub sticking out is there to keep him company and Bully around some.
