Trail. Cam cell cam

Need a new one. Most are cell service cams. Can I use these as normal trail cam. Any suggestions on modest priced one

Tactacam. CS is great. Just get the plan. Once you do you will ask yourself why you didn’t do it yrs ago. Cams are like $100 bucks and can do monthly plans and cancel anytime.

I agree with @ZAG  Once you get your first cell cam, you won’t use your old regular trail cams or not nearly as much  I’m also a big Reveal fan.  Easy to set up and use and make changes to

Yes, simple. I did four cams myself without help from my daughter

Unlimited is $13 per cam and has lower priced options. I turn my plan off after the season and fired it back up in Sept. My first time turning them back on and was easy.

Unlimited pics, not unlimited cameras?

(I’m thinking 4 cams @ $13 each per month so $52 a month for unlimited pics?)

Yeah each cam has own plan. They have a $8 plan for up to 500 pics. That’s why I just run them a few months.

We run mainly Tactacam and use their $8 per camera plan, which gets us 500 pics per unit. We opted for the "Xtra" add-on; for $9 total per month all of the cameras - no matter how many you run - get free HD and free video requests. The cameras are set to take one image followed by video, and if the image looks good, we request the HD and video. This saves us on our allotment, since video doesn't count toward the picture taken. We also run external power sources so we don't have to touch the cameras all season long. After ten years of messing with cell cams, this is the most effective system we've come up with...for now.

It’s like going from the stone age (old cams) to 2024 and tech. Besides changing batteries you can stay away and retrieve pics real time!

Got my first Reveal Tactacam a year ago. Good support, good performance.
My second will be here on the Amazon truck tomorrow.

Running 9 non cell cameras as well but the cell cams seem more relevant and obviously more timely to me. Running rechargeable power packs in the Tacatcams.
