1st frost

Woke up this morning to the first frost of the season here in CNY. Had a few chilly nights but last night finally hit the mark at my house. 

We'll see what the next few weeks bring. Looks like things are going to warm back up.

First frost at my house last night too. Up the hill, at the farm, we've had three or more. Last night in the mid 20's up there!

Same here in WNY.  I’ll have to go out back and see if it finally took out the buckwheat, that I’ve been waiting to get killed off, so that my regular wheat, clover, and awp can take off.

we've had a couple frosty mornings now but today was definitely the most and longest lasting... which is ironic bc by 11am today it was already warmer today than it ever got yesterday. im not complaining though, i need this coming heat wave to get everything done before the cold really sets in. i swear every year just flies by faster and faster. i could live three lifetimes and never get everything done.
