Quick Pheasant Hunt

Today I drove up from Long Island to Cooperstown New York where we are going to have a duck hunt tomorrow. About halfway up I stopped at cranberry Mountain WMA for a brief pheasant hunt to let Enzo stretch his legs. No Bird contacts and the three other hunters I ran into reported the same… I guess it hasn’t been restocked yet. Nonetheless, I was happy with how Enzo searched and as always it’s great to be out in the field with him and meet some other hunters on the way out one of the neighbors in the area stopped by and asked if she could take my picture which I was happy to oblige because as usually a solo Hunter, I don’t have too many pictures of myself hunting.
