I am looking for a cheaper night scope add.on or scope. Want to put it on my pellet gun for mice and rats. I know cheap stuff can be junk but I am not goi g to be shooting more than 10 15 yards at most.

@LET EM GROW Have you used something like this?

My neighbors bought a couple and they work. I hate them, as you dont shoulder the gun properly. But you mentioned you were only shooting 10/15 yards max. Shooting form is a bit different at that point. Also price, Didnt think you wanted to spend much just to shoot rodents. But otherwise it works perfectly fine. IF you want to spend more i can suggest others as well.

Your suggestion was great, was just wondering if you had actually handled it and used it. You hit it right on the head with price and what I am using it for.

Greatly appreciated.

Would a red light mounted on the scope work for you? I bought one for ~$40 that I put on my .22. It says it’s good out to 100 yards, but I would say it’s good out to 50 yards anyways. There’s several on Amazon. The one I got came with the light and mount and is rechargable.

I do have a red light but it seems like rodents see the red or green color.

You're welcome, It should suit you well for the price. It should be nearly as clear as the scope glass you have on the weapon. As for the Infrared light, they still might be able to see it(Ive never targeted Rodents with ours so I'm not 100% certain) If they do, Find a cheap little 940nm IR light instead of the 850 that comes with it.
