dbHunterNY Posted October 31, 2024 Posted October 31, 2024 For a many years now I've shot original Rage 2 blade titanium heads. The blades I've been replacing with regular Rage blades I'd touch up to be razor sharp and they often get bent passing through deer. The ferrules are titanium though and ive never had shot one through something that didnt spin true. They were $80 per 3 back many years ago which was crazy expensive. I bought a bunch but have lost them over time due to lost broken shafts in deer or that passed through and went down say a ridge never to be found. They're brutal on deer. Have you had a head discontinued you wished was brought back? Pics of head and doe I just shot pouring out blood. Red, Splitear, mowin and 2 others 4 1
BowmanMike Posted October 31, 2024 Posted October 31, 2024 Wow,that is a crazy picture. I am a 2 blade fixed guy,so the rage looks crazy to me,the width and the blade angle, wow. When they work they work great I suppose. I do like my sturdy heads though because I can re-use them until I loose one. biggamefish 1

Not a NAP Killzone broadhead.
Red Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 I used to use the rocky mountain snyper broadheads. I loved them. I'm pretty sure rage broadheads copied their design. They stopped making the snyper broadhead after the rage heads came out. dbHunterNY 1
dbHunterNY Posted November 1, 2024 Author Posted November 1, 2024 in case some want to know. pictures are after i used them on the doe BTW. the head I scrubbed and washed in the sink as it was buried 2.5 inches into the dirt from the pass through. I'm shooting a Bowtech set at 29" draw length, 60lbs, with cams in comfort mode (IBO of around 335 fps), and a finished arrow weight of 472.6 grains. Not exactly how far away the doe was but something around 21 yards by the time I released the arrow. pretty typical of multiple deer taken each season with this broadhead and various bow setups over the years. They came out a little over 10 years ago and I also had started a QDM co-op that got extra antlerless tags. This is my last head, so it'll be taken apart, cleaned, blades re-sharpened, put back into service. Then again until I lose it. mowin and grampy 2

Ya never no. eBay and Amazon have been checked for quite some time. some of the newer heads aways come up but haven't found this one yet. They've made different version of their Trypan model in titanium that screws the search results. Not the same design though. Red and mowin 2
dbHunterNY Posted November 1, 2024 Author Posted November 1, 2024 another thing I didn't mention. the picture showing blood pouring out like a faucet is the entrance hole not the exit. it was coming out both sides. mowin 1
