Checking in on old site is getting very annoying

So i haven't  posted on the old sight in some time , but  i like to check in and see whats going on with their live from the woods thread . But man i’m  about to stop , the pop up adds i get every time i click on something is getting old fast.

It's really a trainwreck over there now. With an absentee owner, and no one to monitor the pop up's, it will only get worse. Still some good guys there. But one loudmouth, always spoils it for the rest.

It's a 6 man chat group.  I pop in once in a while.  Adds are brutal.  I should access it with duck duck go, and avoid the ads, but I'm on so infrequently it really doesn't matter.

it occured to me that CWD probably would come up, so I logged in. didn't get much but I guess it wasn't FourSeason's deer farm but another one 90+ miles away supposedly that had Red deer for commercial meat market. all the additional info I got. plenty of back and forth nonsense though.

And that's if you believe FS.  I've heard nothing about it not being a whitetail except from him, and I'm definitely not taking his word it's true.

There's only so many deer farms in Jefferson county and region 6 I'd imagine. Redmonds Deer Farm is like 65 miles from him but not Jefferson County. Who knows. Truth will come out eventually where it was.

And what type of deer. 

I'm actually surprised they haven't released what farm. They are so concerned about CWD, you'd think they would be warning people who hunt in that area to keep a eye out.

it's DEC. I can see them not wanting to gas light a place early in an investigation if nothing is found in wild deer. if i lived close though, I'd want to know for damn sure. i'd also be offering up my head to DEC to pull lymph nodes. If it was a big buck, after I caped it out though. lol

With the CWD scare, Now I’m a little more thankful that I didn’t kill any deer, hunting 9 consecutive days up in region 6, ending Sunday morning.  I did see more deer and had more chances than any time in the last 22 years up there.  
 

Good thing a branch jumped out and deflected the ML bullet I shot at a mature doe one morning.  One of the young bucks I was after had definitely been acting a little crazy up there since mid summer.  He was still smart enough to evade me however.  If I still have a tag on Thanksgiving weekend, I’ll try for him again.
