So after seeing the reaction of a fellow forum member this morning to something I said years ago I felt the need to make this post.

Yes I stir the pot, I have since I'm a small child. Given the opportunity to add fuel to a fire is something I have always gotten entertainment out of.

granted growing up in the age of the internet this is very easy to do.

Now I will say it's not the reason I am here, I do enjoy hunting and have made some amazing friends here. I've fished with many, hunted with a few, and will be again next week for opening day.

Anyway I guess what I am saying is it's the internet and no one should get their panties in a bunch about anything said on here. It's all In good fun. Yes we have opposing views. Yes some of us will stir the pot.... we all know I wasn't the first and I won't be the last. However at the end of the day I do understand we are a community.

so if my pot stirring has offended anyone I truly am sorry

@Buckmaster7600

@mowin

@Wolc123

@phade

and who ever else doesn't know me and realize I'm just having fun.

OH P.S. I'm headed to vote

Chef, it may have been something you said that enlightened him to a different and new perspective.  Not all you or anyone says that changes someone’s mind is from something they disagree with but rather may be a little light bulb going off.   Don’t sell yourself short!

Let’s be clear. Here was my experience with you.

I shot a 130” 8 point early in October and posted the only photo I had of it in the back of the UTV after getting it out of the woods with my hunting partner and another forum member (who doesn’t hunt with us but was local and could help with the drag after I had just had back surgery five months prior).

Most normal people would just say congrats and move on. Your comment wasn’t congrats. It wasn’t hey, nice job. Your comment was - “it looks bloated.”

It’s a freaking corn and bean fed older buck in October.

Thats not stirring the pot. Thats starting shit. I’m glad you get enjoyment out of doing that. I’ll refrain my opinion of you because you aren’t worth it. And you making this post is exactly who you are. Good luck this season.

Enjoy a less than bloated photo.

In this day & age of cameras in every pocket, why couldn’t you get any type of field photo worthy of posting?

I believe (and being wrong comes easily) you were being purposefully evasive with your picture.

That’s a beautiful buck and I find it surprising you didn’t have a respectable photo to post here unless you had a specific reason such as an article to sell or product endorsement possibility.

I have no patience or use for people who like to start crap for their own entertainment. I’d much rather communicate with people who are honest, rather than just trying to get a reaction out of someone.

Boy this thread really went downhill. I will say this for chef, I've known him for years outside of the forum and its hard to find better people. He's always been very giving to me and been a pretty good friend. I know if I was in a jam, he'd come and help me out. He may talk a little shit, but he has a good heart

No, I posted the photo shortly after we got him onto the UTV. I was more concerned with not screwing my back up. WNYBuckhunter came and helped with the drag. What is evasive of that? I think out of all my bucks I’ve only ever had two nice photos taken of hero shots and they’re usually many hours after the fact because I don’t hunt with the guy who usually takes them. All the rest are usually where they lay or back of truck.
